Want the best mid-career salary in Oregon? Our graduates have it.

PayScale Inc. found that Oregon State alumni earn more at mid-career, $101,300 on average, than graduates from any other public university in Oregon.

And we attract top students who are ready to work hard and make a difference. Among the new students in fall 2018 are 22 National Merit award winners and 183 who ranked first in their high school graduating class.

Professional certification exams? No problem.

99% of our engineering students pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, compared to the national average of 79%.

100% of our nutrition students pass the American Dietetic Association exam, compared to the national average of 79%.

Our exercise science students’ pass rate on the National Athletic Training Association exam is 95%, 29% higher than the national average.

98% of our pharmacy students pass the pharmacy exam the first time, ranking Oregon State among the top 20% of all professional programs.

100% of our veterinary medicine students pass the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam.

Our accounting students’ pass rate on the Unified Certified Public Accounting Exam is 85%, compared to the national average of 50%.

More than 75% of our pre-medical students were accepted to medical schools across the country, including Oregon Health & Science University, University of Southern California, University of Michigan, University of Washington, Dartmouth College, University of Wisconsin and others.
